Invitation to Propose a Session for the ECE Leadership Lab 2026

We are excited to draw on your experience as professionals who participated in the Lab and have since had the opportunity to implement key takeaways in your own early childhood settings.

As we plan this year’s ECE Leadership Lab, we are looking for alumni-led session proposals. We have one to two available session slots that we would like to devote to your voices, experience and creativity.

Proposed sessions should meet the following criteria:

  • Correspond with one or more of the Lab’s core goals*

  • Be implementable across the ECE Lab’s four core target audiences: leadership, classroom educators, students and parents

  • Offer something innovative, compelling or grounded in academic study

If your proposal is selected, we would be delighted to invite you to facilitate the session at this year’s Lab on November 2 or 3 in Palo Alto. We will cover travel expenses and educational materials, and we will offer a modest honorarium.

Please fill this brief proposal that includes your session title, a short description, the intended audience or audiences, a proposed outline and how the session connects to the goals of the Lab.

We look forward to learning from the work you have been doing and to bringing alumni leadership into this year’s Lab.

*Lab Goals:

  1. Deepen familiarity with Zionism and the evolving relationship between the Jewish community and Israel.

  2. Build a sense of belonging among a peer network of early childhood professionals facing similar challenges and opportunities.

  3. Provide practical tools and confidence to bring Z3 topics into ECE settings.
