Lara Walklet is the Teen Engagement Manager at the OFJCC.  A Berkeley native with a B.A. in Jewish Studies from McGill University in Montreal and an M.A. in Jewish Education fromThe Hebrew University of Jerusalem, she has had the privilege of experiencing living in a variety of communities throughout the Jewish diaspora.

After making Aliyah and immersing herself in Israeli culture for 4 years, Lara returned to California to begin her career in Jewish education. With 15+ years of educational leadership, Lara has worked as a teacher, the head of Hebrew and Jewish studies, a program coordinator and Israel trip director. Most recently, Lara has invigorated the teen-focused program space at the JCC, including the creation of the PREP Fellowship and leading the programming for Z3 Teen Summit. She lives at Stanford with her partner and their 4 children.
