Luba Palant
Chief Program Officer
OFJCC
Luba Palant is Chief Program Officer at the Oshman Family JCC (OFJCC) in Palo Alto, a Silicon Valley campus that welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each week. As a key member of the OFJCC’s strategic leadership team, she guides the organization’s full program portfolio, spanning early childhood education, youth and teens, Jewish learning, Z3, Israeli cultural connection, cultural arts, community engagement, and events. She leads the department heads across these areas, oversees program budgets and revenue strategy, and cultivates strategic partnerships that extend the OFJCC’s reach and impact.
Luba’s nearly two decades at the OFJCC give her a deep, cross-functional understanding of the organization. She joined in 2008 on the development team and helped close the capital campaign that built the campus. She went on to lead community engagement, growing new initiatives from concept to established programs and building partnerships with organizations locally and nationally. As Senior Director of Cultural Arts, Community Engagement and the Center for Social Impact, she oversaw work in teen, adult, and family engagement, social impact, cultural arts, and Jewish learning before being named Chief Program Officer in 2025.
Before entering the nonprofit sector, Luba spent a decade in accounting, operations, and business management roles in women’s health, property management, and software consulting. She holds a degree in cultural arts management and a certification in nonprofit executive leadership from the Mandel Institute.
Originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, Luba lives in Los Altos with her husband and three children, who like to say they “grew up at the OFJCC.”
