Mia Katz is a 17-year-old Israeli American Jewish youth leader from California. She serves as a head coordinator for the Israeli Scouts (Tzofim) in the Bay Area, where she leads youth programming, mentors younger counselors, and creates engaging experiences that strengthen connections to Israel and Israeli culture. She is also a counselor at Beged Kefet, supporting Jewish education and younger students, and President of her high school’s Jewish Student Union, where she leads initiatives and events that bring Jewish students together and strengthen community on campus. Through these roles, Mia is passionate about empowering young people to embrace their Jewish and Israeli identities, find their voices, and become leaders within their communities. She hopes to inspire the next generation to stay connected to their heritage and carry that connection forward.
