Omer Genud is a high school senior and youth leader from the Bay Area. He serves as a regional board member for BBYO (B'nai B'rith Youth Organization), where he coordinates community service events across the Bay, oversees more than a dozen counterparts throughout the region, and helps plan and lead conventions for 300+ members. He is also President of his high school's Jewish Student Union (JSU), where he has grown membership, plans biweekly events, and leads a student board. Through both roles, Omer focuses on addressing antisemitism in the Bay Area, partnering with community organizations and bringing in speakers to educate and support students. He is passionate about building inclusive, resilient communities where young people feel proud and empowered to stand up for one another. He hopes to inspire his peers to become active leaders in their communities.
