Alenu (On-Us) - The Founding Grandchildren
Reuven Taub is a Jerusalem native, social entrepreneur, and former senior hi-tech executive with a background spanning military service, nonprofit leadership, and the tech sector. He served as a combat operator and sniper in Israel's most elite IDF unit and later co-founded "The Leadership Core," an NGO focused on developing the next generation of Israeli leadership. Reuven spent over five years as VP of Operations at the medical device startup Healthy.io, where he played a key role in scaling the company globally and securing the first-ever FDA clearance for a smartphone-based AI diagnostic test. Called to reserve duty on October 7th, Reuven participated in battles across the Gaza envelope area where he tragically lost commanders and friends while rescuing civilians. Over the past three years he has spent hundreds of days in reserve duty across the region. Months after 7/10, Reuven co-founded "Alenu (On-Us) - The Founding Grandchildren," a social movement advocating for foundational changes to Israel's civic and governance systems whilst creating a new identity category of a "founding grandchild".
Reuven lives in Jerusalem with his wife Ayelet and their three kids.
