Sharona Israeli Roth is the President and Executive Director of EarlyJ, where she brings decades of experience in Jewish education, innovation and community leadership. A visionary leader known for her entrepreneurial spirit and outside-the-box thinking, Sharona has consistently launched and led successful educational initiatives, transforming bold ideas into thriving programs that meet the evolving needs of the Jewish community.

 She approaches educational renewal with the mindset of a start-up—thinking creatively, testing rigorously and scaling what works. She excels in building high-impact teams, fostering strategic cross-sector collaborations and creating mission-driven environments that prioritize excellence, equity and long-term sustainability.

A lifelong advocate for young children and families, Sharona believes that investing in early childhood is one of the most powerful ways to shape a vibrant Jewish future.

Under her leadership, EarlyJ has emerged as a dynamic incubator for Jewish early childhood education—piloting, refining and scaling successful models that can be adapted in communities across the country.

Sharona holds a master’s degree in Educational Administration and a bachelor’s in Psychology and Education. Her passion for educational innovation and her steadfast commitment to strengthening Jewish life continue to guide EarlyJ’s transformative vision for the future.
