What this means?

Graduates of the program become part of a thriving network of Jewish leaders dedicated to establishing a Z3 ecosystem. This network cultivates a shared ethic of responsibility and equips its members with the language and skills needed to take impactful action. By uniting these leaders, the program drives collective progress toward achieving meaningful and positive change within the global Jewish community.

What you’ll learn

Our framework and topics

Leadership Lab seminars take place right before and after the annual Z3 conference. Seminars beginning before the conference, usually include a Shabbat experience leading into the conference and enhance elements of community building. Seminars taking place after the conference, run with a number of groups simultaneously, and include cohort-based sessions, as well as general sessions. Our sessions include, and are not limited to the following topics:

1 The Z3 moment

2 Intro to modern Zionism

3 A personal connection to Israel

4 The organization’s connection to Israel and Zionism

5 Organizational need mapping

6 Z3 methodology

7 Peer learning

How it works

Z3 in your community

Leadership Lab alumni are welcome and encouraged to create a Z3-inspired project in their community. JCCs across the country have created incredible programs, adjusting Z3 to their constituents’ needs and making Z3 their own. Z3 projects included local Z3 conferences, local Leadership Lab seminars, Kehilla kits, speaker events and more.

How long it will take?

Designing a Leadership Lab seminar with new and existing partners requires community need mapping, performed in collaboration with the Z3 team. We ask that your organization designates a “content expert” to work with us in the process and drive change from within the organization. If we’re partnering together, you should plan to have biweekly meetings and follow-up assignments several months prior to your project or Lab.

Once completing the Leadership Lab program, participants are invited to join the Z3 Network. The Network offers unique opportunities to connect with world-class leaders in the field, fellow alumni and invitations to exclusive Z3 Network events.
