War, Destiny and Responsibility: Israel and the Future of Jewish Peoplehood

Israel and the Jewish people are living through one of the most consequential and uncertain periods in recent history. What began in the aftermath of October 7 has evolved into a broader and more volatile regional conflict, including direct confrontation with Iran, reshaping the security landscape and reverberating across Jewish communities worldwide.

Join Zack Bodner, President and CEO of the Oshman Family JCC, as he interviews acclaimed author and Shalom Hartman Institute Senior Fellow Yossi Klein Halevi in a wide-ranging public conversation about how this historic moment is transforming Israeli society and redefining the meaning of Jewish peoplehood. Together they will explore questions of resilience, moral responsibility, solidarity and the evolving relationship between Israel and Jews around the world.

This timely program offers an opportunity to step back from daily headlines and engage thoughtfully with the deeper challenges and possibilities shaping Jewish life in the months and years ahead.

The Z3 Project is proud to partner with the Shalom Hartman Institute for this event.
